Hey, I’m Stephen!

Ok, that’s cool.

Google Wave works great on iPhone - Gvoice to follow!?

without comments

I was blessed with my Google Wave account this morning. I have no fellow wavers to “wave” at so I’m still feeling a little bit like the only guy in the world with a phone. Feeling like I should do at least do something I logged in from my iPhone. After a brief warning about browser compatibility it appears to look A-O’kay. I read Erick Schonfeld’s article on TC noting that we got invited in the same batch (either google finds me very important or him not very important) and he reported that bookmarking it to the home screen revealed other advantages, including the removal of browser chrome and a nifty iphon-tastic icon.

This got me thinking about the Google Voice iPhone app that Apple has yet to approve/reject. I recall Google saying that they would release a mobile app for the iphone that would be better than the native app. Could the google wave “mobile app” be a harbinger of things to come from Google? I hope so!
